FAQ For Donegal House 
 
How do I pick up the room key? 
We provide you with two options-  you can use both if you wish! 
You can collect keys at Timony’s spar shop/ an post which is 50meters away (if you stand outside the property door and look left you will see the shop) You will see red and green signage! Eircode is F94y7hr  anytime from 3pm; shop opens  0600am to 12 midnight  7 days a week so don’t worry if your late checking in, just ask staff at the counter for the keys and give your name. Prior to arrival ,we will also send you the option with smartphone we will send details of access codes via SMS or email (depending on details submitted at booking) you will be asked to download the app and instructions will come with that. If you do not have smartphone your room card can be picked up from 0600am to 12 midnight at Timony Spar which is 20 meters away and within sight .
 
Information for keys & room : Upon departure from your stay in Donegal house, could you please return keys to black box inside front door before you leave thank you When you have left the room for check out please use the sign for door provided, if you are staying more than one night and please ensure you also use the sign so housekeeping can enter room to attend to it Thank you ☺️ 
 
What are your check-in/checkout times? 
Check in is 3pm and Check out is 11.00am. When checking out there is a black box beside front door to leave your keys in, you will dee it when departing out the front door.
 
Do you offer late checkouts? 
Unfortunately, we don’t offer late check outs, if there is an emergency and you need to check out late please contact us, if this is possible we will do our best to accommodate you. 
 
Do you offer Breakfast? 
We do not offer any food on site, there is numerous food areas located minutes around the town ranging from cafes to Deli’s to bakery’s. We have some fantastic range of places to eat. 
 
Do you have a lift? 
We do not have an elevator in this property and the rooms are spread over 3 floors. if you hve mobility issues and do not want to use stairs it is advised you book first floor rooms  for your convience, these are the family rooms located on first floor.
 
Is the bus stop far away? 
The bus stop is less than a minute walk from the property, bus stop is located right outside the Abbey Hotel 
 
Where can I park? 
Please note we do not have private parking at the property,  there is pay and display public parking right outside the door of the properly and also more pay and display ( 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday) is located around the town all within minutes’ walk, and also a pier that is pay and display again just a minute walk from property and it has quite a lot of parking, I’ve attached a link to help with info. You can pay in person or online, pricing ranges from 30c to 50c an hour for parking and is free from 6pm until 9am.

By Car

Get to Donegal direct from Dublin Airport with Expressway Routes 30 and X30, or to Letterkenny on Route 32 (Bus Stop is outisde Terminal 1). With free 4G WiFi, charging points, and reclining leather seats, you'll arrive well rested and fully-charged. There are also express buses serving the principal towns of Donegal from Dublin, Belfast, Derry and other major cities.

Please note there is no smoking allowed on this premises at any time, if caught smoking in premises you will fined €250.00
