Stairs to top floor room were a challenge and I don’t recall seeing an option to select lower floor room when I booked but I may have overlooked it. Shower is lovely but additional towels needed to dry floor each time. A location to drop wet towels outside room would be helpful. More hooks on walls to hang clothing would be useful. Thank you

Location was excellent. Clean & well appointed.

Difficult to locate orange door from street. Parking not easy to offload luggage. Shower worked well but the floor drainage system not ideal.

What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
The location is fantastic with shops, cafes, restaurants within walking distance, as well as bus stops. The accommodation itself was roomy and comfortable.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
We would have appreciated a self contained shower, although the bathroom floor dried reasonably quickly. A microwave in the unit would have been nice.

Very quiet, no internal and external noise. Very clean and efficient accomodations. Wish there was a work station for my laptop and charging station for my phone and camera. A perfect accomodations for someone that only needs to sleep in the hotel. Very close to multiple pubs and restaurants. Great value.

Accessibility could be challenging for someone with bad knees or hips

Perfect location to walk to pubs an.d shopping. Parking was fairly close and free at night.

Shower gets bathrom wet. manager had to make special trip to bring enough toilet paper.

I absolutely loved my stay at Donegal House. The room was beautifully lit by skylights. Making the room airy, bright, and inviting. It felt peaceful and quiet, despite being right in the heart of town. I appreciated how easy it was to walk to local pubs, restaurants, and shops, everything was at my doorstep. The communication before and during our stay was excellent; the team answered promptly and helped with parking tips. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. The location truly couldn’t be beaten, I’d return in a heartbeat.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
Honestly, nothing major. The only minor challenge was parking. There’s no private lot, so you’ll need to use street parking or a nearby public lot. Street parking is free from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m., and the fee outside those hours is minimal. It just meant we had to roll our bags a short block or so, which wasn’t a big deal. The other small thing to note is that the room was on the top floor with no elevator. But I wouldn’t trade that for anything, the skylights and quiet made it completely worth it.so

Excellent location. Housekeeping woman was incredibly helpful and kind. The room was clean and comfortable.

Don't know why the shower can't have a simple circular curtain. A lift would be nice.

Very wonderful accommodations right in the center of Donegal. Comfortable beds and air conditioning available (which we didn't find anywhere else in Ireland.

GREAT central location! The room was clean and comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Could use a bathmat outside the bathroom door as the floor is wet after showering and did not want to track water into the room.

I loved that we were downtown and that the town was not overly busy. The room was very clean and lived the shower. Very comfortable stay. Loved that there was free WiFi.

The stairs were a little challenging with our luggage, but overall loved our stay.
