Donegal Town
Donegal Town is a historic town on the Wild Atlantic Way, overlooking Donegal Bay. At the towns centre is the Diamond, where the Donegal Apartments House is located, as well as many shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions. The local bars and hotels have regular entertainment, including traditional Irish music, while the local restaurants have given the town a reputation of being a great food destination.
There are also many historical and cultural attractions in the town, including Donegal Castle, Four Masters Column, Abbey Graveyard and Ruins, Donegal Railway Heritage Centre, Donegal Bay Waterbus, and many more. Many visitors also use Donegal Town as a base to explore all that County Donegal has to offer.
