Centrally positioned with all amenities a short walk away. Room was small but well organised and very clean.

Room 11 was 3rd floor with no lift. 3 sets of increasingly steep stairs make this very difficult if you have any mobility issues.

Great city center location- easy to walk to all shops & attractions.

Parking on the street only option if you have a car. We also had to hike up 3 flights of stairs for our room - no lift! We only took the absolute essentials out of the car for the night in our backpacks.

Beautiful space and loved the windows.

Bathroom door was really heavy and slammed closed. Shower water got everywhere. There was also a floor light we couldn't figure out how to turn off.

The location and ease of getting the "keys" were excellent. The room was perfect for us. It was clean and we were provided with the things we needed for a comfortable stay!
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
I don't have anything negative to say about this place. Perhaps a chain to secure the door at night, and a shower curtain to better contain the shower might be good additions.

The property was right in the centre of town where all the nightlife is and restaurants. It has a large room and space to stay for a couple of days. It has air-condition so with the weather been so hot was a lovely bonus. Also I left a pillow in the room and Sarah was so kind to post it to me in Ireland. This was where they went over and beyond the service they offer.

This is our second stay at Donegal House, and we’ve already booked again for October with friends who are visiting from England. Repeat bookings speak volumes! The accommodation is excellent, with spotless rooms, air conditioning, and a handy fridge! All in a central location in our favourite town! 😊

Beautiful big spacious room, comfortable bed , fridge, tea & coffee, ironing board & Iron and with a lovely view to Donegal town square. We will definitely be back 😊

Stairs a bit steep 2 flyts to much for me. Am 81 years old room's great air conditioning great bathroom/wet room great 👍 j

Perfect location. Newly renovated. App didn't work but was easy enough to grab keys at the Spar.

The bathroom - a glass partition between shower and toilet would be much better. Having to remove toilet paper and towels to shower was a pain. And after each shower, th toilet had t be wiped down because it was all wet. The drain also didn't drain very quickly so was concerned that water could run into room (it didn't).

I am a frequent traveler to Ireland. I highly recommend staying at Donegal House during your stay. The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming.

The location was IDEAL and the accommodations were top notch.

We lke leaving a window open at night. Unfortunaely, when we did, we did awaken to street noise. But once the windows were closed they were totally noise cancelling.

Very comfortable room. Good bed. Perfect location. All you need is present.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
The bathroom is very nicely furbished, however with a simple adaptation it could be perfect. Either a (transparant) screen between toilet and shower or a simple floor scrubber to dry the floor after showering would prevent that your socks get wet when using the toilet.

The property and location were both excellent. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly require for a short stay in Donegal Town. The room had a fridge and air conditioning, which is more than some hotels provide in the area. We will definitely return to Donegal House when next staying in Donegal Town.

This does not apply as we didn't find any negatives during our stay in the property.
