Convenient location walking distance to most activities you would want, transportation, food and entertainment. Great value for the money.

Great, clean accomodation in the center of Donegal town. Nice and helpful contacts on site. Good breakfast options nearby. We enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back soon.

What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
Donegal House is very centrally located. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. The room was spacious and clean. We picked up our keys from the SPAR (convenience store) nearby. Pre-stay communication was great. The room had a small fridge, AC and coffee/tea servce. We would stay here again.

This hotel has no elevator.

it was great to location easy to get around, The food was wonderful and the people very kind. I will be back.

Nice location, clean accommodation, hot shower, beds were comfortable. App for check in was nice (unless your phone dies).

A/c only runs for a short period of time then shuts off. It was very warm weather, so having a cool room to sleep would have been nice. Had to get up a couple of times in the night to turn it on. The shower gets the whole toilet area wet.

Perfect location, right on the Diamond. Great bars, cafe’s and restaurants nearby. Sitting on the window seat watching the world go by was very relaxing (and entertaining). The room was amazing - huge and spotlessly clean. We felt very comfortable and would like to stay longer next time.

No problems at all, I imagine it may get noisy of a night on a weekend but as long as we’re in the thick of things we don’t mind.

Everything. Location. They had a birthday card waiting for me and a bottle of wine. The Landscape. Unheard of beauty. Then you meet the people. Kindness. Authenticity. Fun. Music. Guinness. Pure amazing golf. Sarah, thank you and your staff. Please tell Principal Thompson I want a job. Can I move in?!? Like permanently?!?

Nothing. Blue light in ceiling be damned!! lol! And WHO COMPLAINS ABOUT A BATH/SHOWER ROOM?!?!? I read some of the reviews prior. Maybe an escalator!!! 🤪.

Clean, very close to all amenities. Access to property was so easy with no issues about collecting keys. A very nice base for exploring Donegal

The location of Donegal House was ideal, with access straight onto the town centre and positioned next to coffee shops and bars. Internally, it was quiet, very clean and tastefully decorated. The rooms were well equipped, bed comfy and would highly recommend. We would choose to stay again.

Rooms were great, nice that window overlooked The Diamond. Nice shower too. Very pleased with whole stay. Briefly chatted with person taking care of rooms also very pleasant. Certainly will recommend to others and hope to be back before long. Yours, Eóin Patterson

Well not really 'didn't like' - but appreciate that you accommodated request for as few steps as possible. We were able to do one flight but any more would have been a serious challenge. So the one flight of stairs was grand.

I booked 2 rooms for my sister's 40th in December, Sarah is an absolute gem to deal with and nothing was a problem. The location is 10/10, the rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. Would 100% recommend Donegal House.
